LeRoy R. Huntley

LeRoy R. Huntley, 78, of Colona passed away May 22, 2023 at his home.

Per his wishes he will be cremated with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Schroder Mortuary, Colona is assisting the family with arrangements.

LeRoy was born January 30, 1945 in Davenport, IA the son of LeRoy and Georgianna (Kaffenberger) Huntley. He married Dianne Smith October 2, 1965 in Washington DC. LeRoy served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. He worked as a Journeyman Union Iron Worker for 38 years. LeRoy was a lifetime Harley enthusiast, receiving his first bike at age 11.

Survivors include his wife Dianne; children Lance (Karyn) Huntley and Angie (Shane) McDanel; grandchildren Hayley, Cole, Sayer, Reid, and Calan; sisters Emmalee Kent and Patricia (John) Skinner, and a brother Wil Huntley.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents.
