Linda E. Jeffrey, 67, of Silvis, passed away Dec. 27, 2016, at Illini Restorative Care Center in Silvis.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated, and burial will be at a later date in Arizona. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis assisted the family with graveside arrangements.
Linda was born July 7, 1949, in Silvis, the daughter of Emmert and Helen Hayes. She married Kenneth Jeffrey on Nov. 29, 1968, in Silvis. He passed away June 14, 2014.
Linda was a loving person. Linda worked in the resort industry earlier in life and finished her working career caring for young children at a local day care. She enjoyed reading, watching movies and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Bill Jeffrey and Steven R. Jeffrey; grandchildren, Maxwell R. Jeffrey and Luke L. Jeffrey; and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Kenneth.
Her sons would like to thank her many friends, family and medical teams who supported and cared for Linda through the last two years. You all have been her angels.
