Lois Robertson

Lois V. Robertson, 83, of Moline, passed away Oct. 10, 2018, at her home.

A celebration of life will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Burial will be at a later date at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Lois was born July 31, 1935, in Salem, W.V. the daughter of Frank and Grace Gum Whitehair. She married Bernard “Pops” Robertson in 1953 in Rock Island. He passed away Oct. 8, 2011. Lois worked at A&W and FW Means. In her younger years, she enjoyed refinishing furniture. She also enjoyed sewing, shopping, flower gardening, Elvis and listening to country music. She especially loved taking care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Mark (Mona) Robertson and Greg (Pat) Robertson, all of Moline; grandchildren, Joe Robertson, Angie (Patrick) Linn, Amy (Mike) Mealman, Dan (Alisa) Robertson, Bryan (Tracy) Robertson and Abigail (Ivan) Barrera; many great-grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence, Edward, Alan Whitehair; and sisters, Gerlean McIntosh and Sharon Tubb.

Lois was preceded in death by parents, husband, son Bernie, sisters Christy and Jeannie and brothers Bob and Howard.
