Louis Brand

Louis E. Brand, Sr., 80, of Hillsdale passed away January 16, 2022 at his home.

Funeral services will be 10am Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Visitation will be 4-7pm Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus.

Louis was born September 2, 1941 in Fort Benning, GA the son of Louis J. and Beatrice Brand. He married Peggy A. Mills February 19, 1962. She passed away January 28, 2017.
Louis worked for John Deere Harvester and enjoyed fishing, firearms, and working on cars.

Survivors include his children Linda (Mark) Hubbard, Louis Jr. (Cheryl) Brand, Wesley (Karen) Brand, Brenda Brand, and Mark (Alicia) Brand; 14 grandchildren; 30 great
grandchildren and one on the way and 6 grand dogs.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 1 granddaughter, and 1 grandson.
