Mark DePoorter

Mark Anthony DePoorter, 58, of Silvis passed away Friday - May 6, 2016 at his home in Silvis. A memorial visitation will be 4-7pm Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Private burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Mark was born Dec. 29, 1958 in Moline, IL the son of George and Norva DePoorter. He served in the US Air Force. He was a lifetime print press operator and worked at Desaulniers in Milan. Mark loved woodworking and his dog Aby who just passed away April 15th. Survivors include his daughter Christine (Duke) DePoorter Goodman of Moline; son Chris DePoorter of Orion; grandchildren Cody Wilson, Autumn Wilson, Keegan DePoorter, Apryl DePoorter; step grandchildren Keagan Goodman and Kaige Goodman; sister Paula DePoorter Suggs; brother Jim DePoorter of Moline and several nieces and nephews.
