Mary Ella Showalter

Mary Ella Showalter, 77, of Milan passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at her home.

Funeral services will be 12:00pm Monday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona with visitation 2 hours prior to service time. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family

Mary was born November 26, 1947 in Moline, IL the daughter of Henry and Pearley (Baker) Bowling. She married Robert W. Showalter November 23, 1974 in Rock Island, IL. He passed away February 20, 2010. She enjoyed going to car shows and camping and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son Brian Showalter; grandchildren Chevy (Kristen) Showalter and Lily Showalter; great grandchildren Lakin Showalter and Lucas Showalter; sister Denise (Denny) Anton and her significant other Don Kepple.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons Jerry Stafford, Scott Stafford, and Mitch Showalter and siblings Woodrow Bowling, Jackie Jones, Henry Lee Bowling, Matt Bowling, Jess Bowling, McKinley Bowling, Pauline Hoffman, and Kathleen Schumacher.
