Michael Sloan

Michael Alan Sloan, 65, of Silvis, died Saturday November 1, 2014 at his home. A memorial Service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. Michael was born December 12, 1949 to LeClaire and Mary Jurgelewicz Sloan. He married Celia Burris-Godsil and later married Dixie Carter, April 7, 2006 in Galesburg, IL. He retired from Local 25 plumbers and pipefitters and enjoyed riding his Harley. Survivors include his wife Dixie; son Zachary Godsil; Step children Kristian Carter, Karrin Engle, and Kolton Engle; grandson Milo; 2 step grandchildren Karson and Khloe and a sister Patricia (Bud) Clements. Michael was preceded in death by his Parents, brothers Kenny and Donny, and a sister Mary.
