Moiya Peters

Moiya A. Peters, 66, of Moline, died May 5, 2016 at Unity Point, Rock Island. A Luncheon for family and friends will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded, Schroder Mortuary in Silvis assisting the family with arrangements. Moiya was born July 9, 1949 in Waterloo, IA the daughter of Everett and Kathleen Landon Myers. She married Larry Peters, September 10, 1987. Moiya enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, gardening, new age spirituality, astrology, numerology and ReiKi. Survivors include her Husband Larry; daughter Metaxia (Justin) King of Moline; granddaughter Sophia King; sisters Bridget Myers of Bettendorf, Terese Gleason and Nikola Richardson both of Davenport, and Claudia Lopez of Brownsville, CA. Moiya was preceded in death by her parents.
