Mollie Salmonson

Mollie L. Salmonson, 92 of East Moline, died Friday, November 25, 2022, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.

Services will be private, and burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mollie was born May 17, 1930 in Silvis, the daughter of Nicholas and Viola Miner. She married Reuben Salmonson on June 23, 1950. He passed away May 15, 2013.

Mollie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, East Moline, IL. She was also owner of Seaholm’s Hallmark and Gift Store in downtown Moline.

Survivors include her children: Pam (Eldon) Partridge, Mike Salmonson, and Dan (Marcy) Salmonson. Granddaughters: Molly Koenig, Hanna (Steven) Etheridge, and Erica Salmonson. Great grandchildren: Braydon, Mia, and Stella Etheridge. Brother-in-law Lee (Peg) Salmonson and “adopted” daughter Genesis Visiting Nurse – Kim.

Mollie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and four sisters.
