Noemi Ramon

Noemi Ramon, 83, of Coal Valley passed away Monday, September 28, 2026 at her home.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday with visitation 1 hour prior to service time at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. Burial will follow at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to Quad City Area Women’s Shelters.

Noemi was born April 9, 1943 in Crystal City, TX the daughter of Manual and Luisa Rodriguez Santos. She married Raul Ramon April 20, 1958 in Crystal City, TX. He passed away January 31, 2025. Noemi worked as a nursing assistant at Franciscan Hospital in Rock Island. She enjoyed macramé, baking and decorating cakes, and was actively involved with Bible Study at Christ Church in Colona. She loved cooking for and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children JoAnn (Ronald) Clevenger and John (Julie) Ramon; grandchildren Joseph (Michelle) Clevenger, David (Bobbi Jo) Clevenger, Ryan Ramon, Aundrea Ramon, and Rachael Huntington; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and siblings Eva Moran and Joe Santos.

Noemi was preceded in death by her parents, husband, children Jeannie-vee and Jacob, 2 sisters, and 1 brother.
