Raymond C. Rose

Raymond C. Rose, 85, of East Moline passed away Monday, March 18, 2024 at his home. 

Visitation will be 1:00pm Monday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis followed by a graveside service at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. 

Raymond was born December 22, 1938 in Marshalltown, Iowa the son of Claire and Delma (Nolte) Rose. He served in the Air Force from 1956-1958. Raymond married Helen M. Richardson October 27, 1962 in Marshalltown, Iowa. He worked at John Deere as an Iron Pourer, retiring after 30 years. Raymond enjoyed fishing, camping, working puzzles and building model airplanes. 

Survivors include his wife Helen; children Cynthia (Paul) Hanson, Lisa (Doug) Rogers, David Rose, Jeffrey Rose, and Kayla Rose; grandchildren Derek Oldfather, David Hanson, Jacob (Brooke) Bushnell, Joshua Bushnell, Adam (Brittany) Bushnell, Grace (Joshua) Rentfro, Taylor (Mike) Fuller, James Rose, Sienna Whitman, and Savannah Rose, and 17 great grandchildren.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents.
