Richard Harlan

Richard A. "Butch" Harlan, 69, of Colona passed away February 22, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be 12noon Saturday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona with visitation 2 hours prior to service time. Burial will be in Dayton Corners Cemetery in Colona. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center. Richard was born May 26, 1946 in Fairfield, IA the son of Carroll and Mary Billingsley Harlan. He retired from Eagles Warehouse. Richard was a very friendly person and enjoyed visiting with people. He was an avid pool player and St. Louis Cardinals Fan and enjoyed horseback riding. Survivors include his brothers Kenneth Harlan of Winfield, AL and Dennis Harlan of Orion and a sister Sandra Sue Harlan of Peoria, IL. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Linda.
