Roger P. Smith, age 67, of Davenport, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport. According to his wishes, Roger was cremated and there will be no services.
He was born on July 29, 1943, in Unionville, Mo., the son of Dayton and Patricia (Parrin) Smith. Roger was a Teamster Truck Driver and loved to shoot pool and play Texas Holdem.
He is survived by his sons, Todd Smith of Centerville, Iowa, and Nathan Smith of Unionville, Mo.; sisters, Denise Kellison of Unionville, Mo.; one grandchild; and very special caregivers, Donna Jones, Jennifer Jones, Joshua Jones and Lisa Kuhn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Katrina.
