Rose Ella C. Porter

Rose Ella C. Porter, 87, of Silvis passed away May 11, 2024 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. 

Funeral services will be 1:00PM Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis with visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Memorials may be made to the family. 

Rose Ella was born May 11, 1937 in Watertown, IL, the daughter of Arthur and Frances Neels DeLue. She married Charles Porter in 1977 in Moline, IL. Rose Ella worked for John Deere and enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with family. 

Survivors include her husband, Charles; daughter Catherine (Russ) Ingram; stepson Michael (Jolivia) Porter; grandchildren Benjamin Ingram, Derrick Ingram, Jackson Porter, and Charlotte Porter; sister Lucille Geedy, and several nieces and nephews. 

Rose Ella was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Albert, DeLeu, Elmer DeLue, and Richard DeLue.
