Sean Holzinger, 43, of Cedar Rapids, IA passed away June 19, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
Funeral services will be 12noon Saturday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona with visitation 2 hours prior to service time. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Sean was born Nov. 1, 1971 in Chicago, IL the son of Steven and Nada Havemann Holzinger. He enjoyed painting and drawing like his father and spent a lot of time with his mother until her passing in 2012.
Survivors include his grandmother Norma Holzinger of Carbon Cliff; uncles Chuck (Doris) Holzinger of Coal Valley and Bob (Claire) Holzinger of Moline; aunts Sandy (Roger) Jacobs of Moline; Sherry (Ed) Boden of Winston Salem, NC and Sue (Dave) DeDecker of Orion and numerous cousins.
Sean was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents Gene and Sally Havemann and his paternal grandfather Bernard Holzinger.
