Shannon Davis

Shannon Davis, 44, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died November 30, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Services will be noon Monday at Third Missionary Baptist Church in Davenport. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Memorials may be made to the family. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Davenport. Shannon was born September 6, 1966, in Chicago, to Allene Hill. She loved church and working in the church and was very family-oriented. Survivors include her husband, Willie Davis; children, Eboni Ross of Davenport and Toccara Ross of Davenport; stepdaughter, Connie Claybrooks of Peoria, Ill.; sons, Antonio DeShawn Davis of Cedar Rapids, and Desmen Tyvon Davis of Cedar Rapids; sister, Linda Faye Carter of Chicago; brothers, Rudolph Wallace of Chicago, Wendell Ross of Chicago, and Jeffrey Ross of Chicago; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandchild, Kyshawnda Choate.
