Sherman Jennings

Sherman I. Jennings, 74, of Moline passed away November 16, 2022 at his home.

Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis with visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. Memorials may be made to the family.

Sherman was born April 19, 1948 in Balmar, Arkansas the son of Sherman and Lottie (May) Jennings. He married Norma E. Pyles December 31, 1967. She passed away July 27, 2003. Sherman was retired and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and walks with his late wife.

Survivors include his children William Jennings, Laura Folsom, and Rich Jennings; grandchildren Christopher J. Holmes and Jennifer Jennings; siblings Cookie Dinmock, Goldie Scott, Louis Jennings, Billy Ray Jennings, and Betty Chancler.

Sherman was preceded in death by his parents, grandson and 8 siblings.
