Stuart A. Witte, 50, of Silvis, passed away Sept. 19, 2017, at Aledo Health and Rehab.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at St. Mark's Anglican Church in Silvis with a funeral service to follow at 6 p.m. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.
Stuart was born July 25, 1967, in Silvis, the son of Ralph and Mary Reed Witte. He was an avid sportsman and was a founder of the Silvis Lions Special Olympics team and a diehard Cardinals fan.
Survivors include his sister, Rebecca (James) Schnepple; brother, William (Jolene) Witte; and eight nieces and nephews.
Stuart was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Geri Rowan.
