Teddy Huskey, 74, of Milan, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at his daughter's home in Spring, Texas.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Beulah Cemetery, Orion.
Teddy was born Jan. 22, 1937, in Saffell, Ark., the son of Sidney and Cora Green Huskey. He married Maggie Tittle on Dec. 7, 1954, in Kennett, Mo.
He worked as a shear operator at Tenneco for 27 years, retiring in March of 1993. Teddy was a member of the NRA and Edwards River Coon Hunters Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting and cutting firewood. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie; children Eugenia (Gerald) Green, Spring, Laura (Randy) Allison, Becker, Minn., Toni (Frank) Whitcher, Kewanee, Randy Huskey, Rock Island, and Tracy (Douglas) Sorrell, Sherrard; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister Freedia (Donald) Ferguson, Sebastian, Fla.; and brother, Roy (Pat), Rock Island. Teddy was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Orville and Marvin.
