Thomas C. Rodgers, 76, of East Moline passed away Nov. 18, 2016 at Unity Point Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 10am Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Visitation will be 4-7pm Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Tom was born June 23, 1940 in Chillicothe, IL the son of Merwyn and Maxine Holderness Rodgers. He married Linda Carleton White Feb. 5, 2016 in Rock Island. Tom worked as a mechanic at John Deere Harvester Product Development retiring in 1993. He loved riding his motorcycle and watching sports.
Survivors include his wife Linda White; children Joyce (Tim) Tuchscherer, Kristine (David) Draeger, Jeffrey (Katie) White and Jennifer (Dennis) Adams; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother Richard (Shirley) Rodgers and his little dog Chloe.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; son Thomas; brother Gary and a sister Elizabeth Alexander.
The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Unity Point 4 south for the TLC given to Tom during his many visits.
