Timmothy Paul McCarthy, 52, of Moline, passed away on July 26, 2026. He was born on August 30, 1973.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Timmothy Paul McCarthy. Though his life ended far too soon, the love he shared and the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Timmothy was a devoted son, a caring brother, and a fiercely loyal friend. He had a gentle spirit, a kind heart, and a quiet strength that drew people to him. He never hesitated to offer a helping hand, a word of encouragement, or a smile when someone needed it most. His kindness, compassion, and unwavering loyalty were gifts to everyone fortunate enough to call him family or friend.
Timmothy dedicated much of his career to the trucking industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and professionalism. The open road became a part of his life, and he took great pride in his work.
He is survived by his loving father, Gerald McCarthy; his devoted brother, Jeff McCarthy; his sister-in-law, Meluzel McCarthy; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Helen McCarthy, whose love remained with him throughout his life.
While our hearts are broken by his passing, we find peace in believing that Timothy has been reunited in Heaven with his mother, where they are together once again in God's loving embrace. Though we will miss him deeply, we take comfort in knowing he is at peace, watching over those who loved him until we meet again.
Per his wishes, Timmothy will be cremated and there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the National Lymphedema Network in Timothy's memory. Donations may be mailed to: National Lymphedema Network2229 Bridge Ave. #667Point Pleasant, NJ 08742 or made online at www.lymphnet.org.
