Vance L. Cullison, 74, of Aledo passed away Nov. 9, 2016 at his brother's home in McCausland, IA.
Funeral services will be 6pm Monday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Visitation will be 4pm until service time. Cremation rites will be accorded and burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to VA Homeless Outreach Center in Rock Island.
Vance was born Jan. 14, 1942 in Polo, IL the son of Harry and Loretta Livingston Cullison. He served in the Army during the Viet Nam Era. He married Mary Marlene Craft Aug. 21, 1977 in Sherrard, IL. She passed away May 15, 2004. Vance worked for Settles Construction and loved to play guitar. He loved all animals especially his horses.
Survivors include his daughter Nicole Bennett; siblings Larry (Georga) Cullison, Winona (Jim) Flippin, Wayne (Sharon) Cullison and Addison "Bud" Riley; several nieces and nephews.
Vance was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
