Victor A. Whitney

Victor A. Whitney, 81, of Colona passed away Thursday, November 5, 2026 at his home

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Victor was born May 3, 1945 in Louisville, KY the son of Floyd and Althea Price Whitney. He married Eva Parks on January 15, 1965 in Ottumwa, IA. Victor was a long-time member of the Teamsters, retiring from Roadway after 20 years of service. He enjoyed tinkering with cars with his grandson and loved his 1957 Ford. He also enjoyed attending car shows and Cruise ins and going to “garage night” on Tuesdays at Watson's Garage.

Survivors include his wife Eva; children Clint (Michelle) Whitney, Todd (Kathy) Whitney, and Marc (Lindsay) Whitney; grandchildren VJ Whitney, Ryder Whitney, Lillian Whitney, Paxton Whitney, Stella Whitney, Willow Whitney, Brianna Conroy, and Christopher Crady; great grandson Matzen Whitney; brother Rollin (Susie) Whitney and sister Trudy Baker.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents.
