William Balzer

William D. Balzer II, 62, of Bettendorf, died Thursday, June 12, 2014, at UnityPoint-Trinity Rock Island. He will be cremated and there are no services. Burial is a later date at Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire. He was born Jan. 22, 1952, in Davenport, to William and Doris Sundine Balzer. Surviving are his mother, Doris, Bettendorf; sisters, Jacquie (Leslie) Peters, Davenport, Terry Schmacht, Bettendorf; brother, Robert Balzer, Bettendorf; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, a great-great-nephew, the Dickerson family and several good friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, James.
