William T. Tribbett, 71, of Colona, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at his home.
Visitation is 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Memorials may be made to the family. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens.
He was born Sept. 26, 1939, in Oak Forrest, Ill., to Tete and Hila Cavendar Tribbett. He married Theresa DeLaRosa in 1962, in California. She passed away March 19, 2009.
He worked and retired from John Deere Plow Planter.
He loved fishing, playing cards and spending time with his friends telling "bad jokes."
Survivors include his niece, Diane Dietz-Ducey, Silvis; brothers, Ronald, East Moline, and Edward, Silvis; nephew, Bradley; and niece, Lisa. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son; one sister; and brothers.
