Jack Hobbs

Jack N. Hobbs, 31, of Silvis passed away May 2, 2022 at his home.

Visitation will be 2-5pm Sunday at Faith Walk World Outreach Center, Silvis. Burial will be private at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to NAMI (National Alliance of Mental Illness) or to the family.

Jack was born August 8, 1990 in Silvis, IL the son of Jack B. and Janet Rowe Hobbs. He graduated from UTHS in 2008. Jack most recently worked at Almon as a technical writer. He previously worked as an operator at Lynnwood Mining and Minerals in Buffalo, IA. Jack enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, hiking, biking, hunting, playing volleyball and baseball, swimming and collecting.

Survivors include his mother Janet Hobbs; brother Brandon (Lindsay) Hobbs; sister Brianna (Mike) Hobbs-Firth; niece Raya Hobbs; maternal grandparents Reba (Dave) Johnson and Chester (Diana) Rowe; aunts Melissa (Shawn) Dockery, Julie (John) Doy, and Sue (John) Whipple and several cousins.

Jack was preceded in death by his father and his paternal grandparents Jack and Eleanor Hobbs.
